My Experience with Giant Loop Mototrekk Panniers

One of our customers had something to say about the Giant Loop Mototrekk Panniers
On a recent trip one of our customers Shubhankar Basu (follow him on @thebakedgardener) sent us some pictures of his GL Mototrekk Panniers set up on his Honda Africa Twin. He used a SW Motech side rack for mounting, looping the quick release loops of the Giant Loop Mototrekk Panniers around the 4 corners to secure. These bags mount securely with no movement and still leave a ton of space on top of the bike for a dry bag or top case.

The Giant Loop MotoTrekk Panniers are reasonably priced for a set of quality, waterproof and bombproof soft bags. They are very simple and easy to mount, there are surely times when you have to figure how to get the loop in and out while mounting, but it gets easier as you spend more time with these bags.
The concept of looping it around any pannier rack and then fastening it from the front is the best part of these bags. All in all, they are sturdy enough to handle the rough and the smooth.

About Giant Loop
In 2008, Giant Loop pioneered the original horseshoe-shaped biomorphic motorcycle saddlebag design with the bolt-on Giant Loop Saddlebag (photo below). Since then, Giant Loop adventure proof packing systems and original horseshoe-shaped biomorphic motorcycle saddlebag designs have made hundreds of trips with riders in the most demanding conditions around the world. Giant Loop is confident that if you embrace the “go light, go fast, go far” theory of on- and off-road adventure, sport and dual sport motorcycle riding, you will enjoy the tight, low-riding weight distribution of their luggage system.
