A luggage rack without luggage is generally considered useless! Not for us! We use the left side of the BMW Original and our Wunderlich luggage racks for a three-dimensionally bent aluminium panel equipped with 18 slots of varying sizes and orientations. These slots allow various pieces of luggage or travel equipment, such as a canister or a sleeping bag, to be securely fastened with straps or cords to the universal holder when the luggage is not on board. The edges at the top and bottom provide additional support for the luggage. We have ensured that the universal holder can remain permanently on the rack – so you don't need to remove it every time you want to use the luggage!
This holder provides significantly more flexibility when travelling, for instance, if one or both pieces of luggage are left at the hotel, campsite, or base camp during expeditions.
