Unfortunately, it’s become widely known that TFT displays are simply clipped in and held by three delicate retaining rings. These can easily be overcome without any tools with just a quick pull on the display. As a result, reports of stolen TFT displays are increasing – often accompanied by collateral damage to the bike itself, as thieves are anything but careful.

This makes it doubly frustrating: without a TFT display, continuing your journey is not possible. This can be particularly troublesome when abroad. In addition, replacing the display – a central and complex control unit – is extremely expensive.

Our anti-theft protection makes it difficult for thieves: the four-point screw-mounted frame securely locks the TFT display in place and prevents it from being removed from the original mount. It can help avoid frustration and costly replacements by clearly signalling to any would-be thief (and believe us, they understand at a glance) that attempting theft is not worth the effort. It also helps reduce the risk of secondary damage.
