Unfortunately, it has become common knowledge that the TFT displays are merely clipped in and held by three delicate snap rings. These can be easily bypassed with a quick tug, no tools required. As a result, reports of stolen TFT displays are increasing, often accompanied by collateral damage to the bike – because thieves are anything but gentle.
