BMW has only equipped the R1300GS with minimal rear wheel protection, which is neither long nor wide enough to effectively block mud and splashes thrown forward onto the suspension or to prevent side contamination of the rider’s and passenger’s legs.

The new MudSling® increases the protective surface area on the sides by up to three times and extends downward by an impressive 7 cm to provide optimal protection for the Paralever arm.
