The RAM® M10-1.25 Thread Extension and Reverse Thread Adapter are designed to raise the motorcycle mirror mounting point by 20mm, providing additional clearance for mounting accessories such as RAM® mounting systems. Both adapters are fully compatible with the RAM® Ball Adapter with M10-1.25 Threaded Post (RAM-B-349U) and are constructed from durable marine-grade aluminum for long-lasting performance in demanding riding conditions.
The standard Thread Extension (RAM-M10125-TE) features M10-1.25 right-hand (standard) male and female threads, making it ideal for motorcycles that use standard mirror threads.
The Reverse Thread Adapter (RAM-M10125-RTA) is specifically designed for motorcycles that require a left-hand (reverse) threaded male connection with a right-hand (standard) threaded female connection, which is commonly found on the rider's right-side mirror mount. This reverse-thread design helps improve safety by allowing the mirror and attached accessory to loosen if struck, rather than transferring force that could affect vehicle steering.
